CNN Money publishes article on Kolbe - Help Employees Connect

Oprah.com and CNN publishes article on Kolbe - Knowing Your 'Action' Style Could Lead to Success

There are 3 dimensions of the mind - the Cognitive (Thinking), the Affective (Feeling) and the Conative (Doing).

Your personality is related to the Affective dimension, which deals with your preferences, desires, attitudes, emotions and motivation. The DISC Model of Human Behavior is an excellent tool to identify and understand your personality style and provides very important insights into playing to your strengths, relating well with others and building effective teams. Click on Resources, for more information.

The Conative dimension deals with your natural instincts, your drive and innate force in how you do things. It's your "action" style and is very useful to understand, so that you channel your mental energy (a finite amount) in ways that play to your strengths, making you more effective and work more enjoyable.

Kolbe addresses the Conative dimension. To read the Kolbe article posted on CNN, click here.
